Shantae Lacey, Liao Lab research technician, graduated from the Biomedical Technician Training Program. She is one of the 9 candidates in the first cohort for successfully completing the program. The Biomedical Technician Training (BTT) Program is run by The Wistar Institute and was created by Dr. William Wunner a in partnership with Community College of Philadelphia. BTT trainees learn the skills necessary to carry out basic research for future careers in academic and industry labs. Shantae will continue conducting groundbreaking research at the Center for Craniofacial Innovation after graduation.
