We are excited to have Justin Cotney, Ph.D. join the Center for Craniofacial Innovation as Associate Professor of Genomic Sciences! The Cotney Lab aims to understand how new gene regulatory functions evolve, identify mechanisms of enhancer function over large genomic distances, and globally identify variants of enhancer sequences that are associated with human disease.
The Cotney Lab officially lands at CHOP this summer (July 2024) and are actively seeking postdoctoral researchers and scientists to join. Candidates interested in comparative functional genomics, early mammalian embryonic development, and the genetic basis of the evolution of the human form and developmental disorders can find out more here.
