Helen Molteni, PSOM MS1, has been awarded the Agnew Society First Year Fellowship and will continue her research in the Liao Lab as an Agnew Summer Global Fellow. The Agnew Society First Year Fellowship was established by Penn Medicine’s Department of Surgery for students in the Perelman School of Medicine during the summer after their first year of medical school. This program offers critical one-on-one mentorship with a Penn Faculty surgeon for students to develop a research project, as well as assist with clinical duties and learn more about the surgical field. Helen and other Agnew fellows will present their research at the Agnew Summer Scholars Research Symposium the following semester.
