Eric Liao, MD, PhD, recently spoke about the importance and value of two pathway programs though the Office of Academic Training and Outreach Programs (ATOP): the CHOP Research Internship for Scholars and Emerging Scientists (CHOP-RISES) and CHOP Research Institute Summer Scholars Program (CRISSP). The Liao Lab and Center for Craniofacial Innovation hosted two high school and two undergraduate students this summer, and helped them all conduct cutting-edge research in the laboratory.
